The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has
released former Special Adviser to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on Media and
Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati.
Abati was released around 8pm yesterday. He said
his bail has been processed and the paper work will be completed by Monday.
Abati was arrested last week following allegations that he received N50m from the Office of the National Security Adviser for unstated reasons.
