A plane belonging to the Russian defence
ministry has crashed in Yakutia, Siberia. The plane which was carrying 39
people, 32 passengers and 7 crew members, took off from Kansk before it came
down about 18 miles short of Tiksi in the Bulun district of Russia’s far east
due to bad weather.
It has been reported by Russia’s defence ministry that at least 23 of the people on board have been taken to the hospital with 16 of them in critical condition after the plane fell and broke into three pieces. So far, no death has been reported
