Policemen at the national stadium to protect lives, not disrupt the protest

There were reports earlier that the Nigeria police took over National Stadium, venue of  nationwide protest.

But according to Nigerian actor, Baaj Adebule, who is currently at the protest venue, the policemen are there to protect and ensure a peaceful protest, not disrupt. See another tweet below...
